Ishan
Ecologist at Initiative for Climate ActionIshan (he/him) is an ecologist interested in shaping cultural metamorphosis, from one of capitalocentric urban modernity to one of pluriversal diversity and multi-species kinship. His earlier background is in Mathematics, while more recently he completed his studies in Engaged Ecology at Schumacher College – a journey emblematic of his varied interests and expressions. In an ideal world, he would be found tending to the land, harvesting, cooking and eating plant-based food, probably all by himself. He was also a founding member of Extinction Rebellion in India, and currently contributes to the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) at a global level and the Initiative for Climate Action based in Bangalore.
